(Spring Creek Watershed Extracted)
The Spring Watershed is the drainage area for approximately 504,000 acres of land in southwest Georgia. The watershed includes portions of six counties: southern Clay, southwest Calhoun, most of Early, Miller and Seminole, and finally the western portion of Decatur county. The main stem, Spring Creek, and its tibutaries travel about 550 miles from natural springs in Clay, Calhoun, and Early counties until they empty into Lake Seminole.
